The Uruz rune is one of the oldest symbols in the Runic alphabet. It is associated with strength, vitality, primal energy and perseverance.
We chose this symbol for a reason.
The Battle Wear ethos is all about working alongside your battles, acknowledging that it is a part of what makes you unique. It's not about going out and massacring them with a chainsaw.
It's about inviting your battles in for a cup of tea, sitting it down and asking them what they need to feel better.
That sh*t takes strength. A lot of strength.
It also takes that primal energy inside you to understand when your inner and outer worlds aren't on the same wavelength. If it isn't, that alone will rob you of your baseline vitality—a thing we're all searching for and sometimes forking over handfuls of cash to get it. The trouble is, actual vitality is not something we can buy.
To comfortably sit down at the battle table takes a whole bunch of perseverance because, in all transparency—YOU WILL NEED TO DO THIS AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN.
At Battle Wear, we wear this symbol with pride because we have had many a cup of tea with our battles and are stronger because of it. However, the real strength comes when we join together and give a hearty nod to our fellow humans drinking tea at the next table.
So go drink the tea, and say hi to us next door. xo
